Well, it’s official! We got the keys for our new location today and demolition is now underway. It’s been a crazy ride so far just gearing up for this day (obtaining permits, getting quotes, lining up contractors, transferring utilities, ordering equipment, and just spending lots of $$$$$$$$$$$$)… I am being my own general contractor this time and I have to say it’s much easier the second time around and the fact that I am so organized is finally paying off! I think I may have just found a new profession if the cupcake thing goes south! (shhhhh…I did NOT just say that!!!) But I am so excited knowing we are now one step closer to making my vision a reality!
As promised, I will do my best to document and share the progress of our newest venture with you. So enjoy some of the demo pics we took tonight…

And that is the state it was in when I left tonight but the boys are making amazing time and should have it all cleared out tonight. They were using giant shovels as “dustpans” when I was leaving! So next up are the plumbers and electricians then we can start to rebuild!
Shall we start taking wagers on how long construction will take and when we’ll be ready to open?? I have my goals set but afraid to say anything just yet,…so stay tuned!
